Utica Schools Superintendent takes job in Peekskill District

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Schools Superintendent James Willis is leaving the school district.

Willis has accepted the job of Superintendent in the Peekskill School District.

According to Utica School Board President Chris Salatino, Willis will stay through the budget year and is expected to leave in July. Salatino said the selection process to replace Willis will begin Wednesday night in an executive session meeting.

Willis was named Utica Superintendent in 2009.
