Brindisi: Utica DOT to remain open

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Department of Transportation office will remain open, according to Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi.

"The Governor has committed to not closing any regional DOT offices as he proposed earlier this year," Brindisi said. "This is a major win not only for the approximately 200 Utica DOT office's employees and their families who could have been affected, but for our entire region. While streamlining government and making it as efficient and effective as possible is a priority, we must make sure it is done in ways that will not affect services our communities rely on, such as infrastructure maintenance and repair, and snow-removal."
