Minor accidents caused by slick roads reported throughout the area

(WKTV) - Winter weather and slick roads are causing for a sloppy commute throughout Central New York. Several minor accidents have been reported with cars sliding off the roadways.

Little Falls
In Little Falls, emergency crews responded to a three-car accident on West Main Street Saturday afternoon.

No serious injuries were reported.

Officials say it was a minor accident apparently caused by slick roads with only bumps and bruises reported.

Schuyler
Two cars were involved in an accident Saturday afternoon on Herkimer Road, near Route 5, not far from the Schuyler Town Hall.

Officials say an elderly woman was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

StormTracker 2 Meteorologist Jill Reale says that more snow is expected throughout the day and into the evening. A snow emergency was declared in the CIty of Utica.
