Oneida County Legislature approves hiring of two new Sheriff's Deputies

ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV)
- The Oneida County Sheriff's Office will soon hire two new deputies as two investigators move to the Child Advocacy Center.
The Oneida County Board of Legislators officially approved the request on Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff Robert Maciol says sex crimes against children are growing locally and he thinks it is the best way to use extra money in the budget.
