Hay fire under control at Verona barn

VERONA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Multiple departments responded to the scene Thursday after some hay caught fire at a Verona barn.
When firefighters arrived at the barn, located on Route 31 in Verona, the owners were next to the elevator for the hay. Underneath the elevator, some of the hay was on fire.
Firefighters say they were able to isolate the fire and get it under control with very little damage.
Shortly after 5 p.m., firefighters were pulling the bales of hay out of the barn and wetting them down.
