Two charged with arson for fire at Rome bar

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two people have been charged with arson following a fire Saturday on West Dominick Street in Rome.

According to Rome Police, firefighters and police responded to Philly's Bar at 415 West Dominick Street for a report of a structure fire.

Investigators say an unknown liquid had been poured onto the side of the building and then ignited, causing damage to the outside of the building.

Following the investigation, authorities have charged Antoin K. Mcleod, 28 and Christina M. Rosado, 21 with second-degree arson.

They are both being held in Rome Police lock-up pending arraignment in Rome City Court.
