Sports WKTV

Hamilton College women's lacrosse player Kaillie Briscoe '09 (Orangeville, Ontario/Orangeville District School) was one of six featured "Faces in the Crowd" in the August 25 issue of Sports Illustrated.
Briscoe was one of the top players on a women's lacrosse team that won the first national championship in Hamilton athletic program history. Briscoe scored two goals and assisted on two others in the Continentals' 13-6 victory against Franklin & Marshall College in the 2008 NCAA Division III championship game on May 18.
Briscoe is the first player in team history to top the 100-point mark in one season. She finished 2008 with 66 goals and 41 assists for 107 points. Briscoe was later selected a First Team All-American by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association and US Lacrosse.
Briscoe's picture and highlights appear on page 28 in the magazine. She is the third Hamilton athlete to appear in Faces in a little more than two years. All-American track athlete Peter Kosgei '10 was in the March 31 issue after he won two events at the 2008 NCAA Division III indoor championship. All-American diver Mike Salmon '06 was in the May 11, 2006 issue after he swept the two springboard events at the 2006 NCAA Division III men's swimming and diving championship.
