"Hamill" wins Audience Award for Best Feature at Miami International Film Festival
MIAMI, F.L. (WKTV) - The film "Hamill" continues to impress audiences, walking away with the Audience Award for Best Feature Film at the Miami International Film Festival.
The movie is based on the life of deaf UFC Fighter Matt Hamill, who became one of the sport's most respected figures. The Ohio-born Hamill currently lives in Utica. People who attended the festival voted throughout the ten-day event to put Hamill on top. While there is still no distribution agreement for the film, Matt Hamill continues his career in the UFC, with his next fight scheduled for May 30 in Las Vegas. |
