The Oriskany baseball team combined small ball with advantageous play to a winning effect on Saturday, holding off visiting Harley Allendale Columbia from Rochester 5-4.

The Redskins scored their first two runs on a groundout and a pickoff play that resulted in no outs and a run scored, then scored their next two runs on a triple that hung up in a blowing wind and eluded HAC's leftfielder. Mike Sreca led the offense with two hits, two runs, and two stolen bases, while Joe Doolen got the win with four innings of work.

With the victory, Oriskany improves to 7-2.
