Frankfort Comes Back To Beat Herkimer

The Frankfort Maroon-Knights topped Herkimer 5-4 on Wednesday. The Knights trailed 3-2 in the 6th inning when Mike Rotundo homered to tie the game at three. The two passed balls in the top of the seventh allowed two runs to score. Herkimer would add one in the bottom of the seventh but that was not enough. Peter McKenzie struck out 11 on a five hitter in the loss. Jamie Barr struck out seven on nine hits and got the win. Frankfort improves to 10-4 while Herkimer drops to 10-5.
