By Sports WKTV

Clinton, N.Y. - Dave Litz has resigned as head coach of the Clinton Warriors hockey team because he wants to spend more time with his family. The move comes after seven years on the bench. The Warriors won three Section III titles and two New York State Championships under Litz's guidance. He leaves with a 139-40-11 record and led the Warriors to four Section III Division II East titles. During their back to back state title run, Litz's Warriors were 13-0-1 in 2004-05 and 14-0 in 2005-06 in league play. Both teams finished with 26-1-3 overall records. Coach Litz was named the Division II East coach of the year twice and the state's Division II coach of the year in 2004-05.
