UTICA, NY (WKTV) - On Wednesday, Bucky Dent and Mike Torrez helped raise funds for St. Peter's School. Fans from all over the area came to listen to the two join NEWSChannel 2 Sports Director Jason Powles for sit-down interviews. Following the presentation, the men signed autographs for fans.

On October 2nd, it will have been 30 years since the big home run. Yankee and Red Sox fans will never forget it for obvious reasons. It was 30 years ago that Yankees shortstop Bucky Dent hit a three run homer off Red Sox pitcher Mike Torrez to give NY a 3-2 lead in the one game playoff of 1978. The Bombers went on to win the game, make the playoffs and win the World Series.
