MVCC Men Crush North Country

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley Community College men's ice hockey team was in fine form despite an early start on Saturday, blowing out visiting North Country at the Utica Aud 7-1.

MVCC, playing an 11:30 a.m. game due to a Utica College doubleheader, opened up a 3-0 lead in the first period and led 6-1 after the second.  Kevin McCready led the way with four goals and an assist, Jim Engler had two goals and two assists, and Josh Lamie made 35 saves in net.

The Hawks have won four straight games to improve to 5-3-1 overall.
