MVCC Hawks Beat Delhi 80-79 In Double Overtime

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - After a slow start, the MVCC Hawks came back to beat Delhi 80-79 in double overtime. New Hartford grad Alex Prue led MV with 26 points. 

After trailing by 10 points early, the Hawks rallied to take a 35-34 lead at the half. With the game tied nearing the end of regulation, the Hawks made a last second stop to send it to overtime. At the end of overtime, Hawks down two, Jerome Davis hit a layup with five seconds to go to send it to double overtime. Prue was fouled with seconds to go in the second OT and hit one of two shots.

Bradley Griffin chipped in 19 points for the Hawks, who improved to 13-4 overall 12-3 in the conference. Reggie Davis scored 27 points for Delhi.
