(WKTV) - The Whitesboro cheerleading team beat out seven teams in its division and 35 overall to earn Grand Champion and Grand Champion Classic Cup honors, respectively, at the Mid-Hudson Valley CNY Winter Cheer Classic on Saturday.

EL PASO, TEXAS (WKTV) - Former Hartwick College quarterback Jason Boltus made the most of his appearance at the third annual Texas vs. The Nation all-star game on Saturday, throwing the go-ahead touchdown in a 27-24 win for The Nation.

Boltus threw an 8-yard scoring pass to Stanford's Anthony Kimble in the second quarter to put The Nation up 13-7.  It held the lead the rest of the way.

Boltus, a native of Baldwinsville, will now prepare for the NFL Scouting Combine next month in Indianapolis.  He is the only NCAA Division III quarterback who has been invited.
