Proctor and RFA Denied By Tri Valley

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor and RFA athletic programs have been denied entry to the Tri Valley league. This according to Proctor Athletic Director Marty Nemecek.

"We are dissapointed. With the way things are going in the economy that they couldn't keep things geograpic. We're trying to keep our kids close to home. We're just dissapointed."

Nemecek said he was notified by phone Tuesday afternoon around 2pm by Tri Valley league President Richard Hunt. Calls to Mr. Hunt have not been returned to WKTV.

Both schools appiled to the league in late January in an effort to help cut costs. Playing in the Tri Valley would help cut back on transportation costs.
