IceCats In 2nd Place After Win Over Findlay

Offense and the Aud seem to go together for the semi-pro Mohawk Valley IceCats, and Sunday was no different, as MV beat the Findlay Freedom 6-4. In three games at the Aud now, the IceCats and their opponents have scored a combined 47 goals, with MV winning twice and losing once.

Sean Walsh scored two goals and goalie Chris Cuppett had 22 saves in the victory, which improves the IceCats to 3-3-1 and moves them into second place in the North Eastern Hockey League.

MV's next home game is Sunday, December 17th at 6:00 at the Aud against Danville, which the 'Cats beat 18-1 in their home opener.
