BOONVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - After giving up a 90-yard touchdown return on the opening kickoff, Adirondack came back for a 35-14 victory over Lowville on Saturday in its Class C North opener.

The Wildcats went ahead 8-7 late in the first quarter on a short TD run by Jesse Sullivan and increased the lead to 16-7 early in the second on a 21-yard pass from Matt Pfendler to Scott Hughes.  Lowville got back within 16-14 with a 66-yard touchdown pass from Jeremy Kingsley to Mark Nortz, but it would get no closer as Pfendler scored on a 3-yard sneak for a 22-14 halftime lead and the Wildcats pulled away in the second half.

Adirondack is now 1-0 in league play and 3-0 overall while Lowville is 0-2 (1-2).
