UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Cooperstown's Caleb Edmonds ran the fastest overall varsity time by nearly 16 seconds on Saturday to place first individually in the Boys Varsity 1 race in the 67th E.J. Herrmann Invitational at Proctor Park in Utica.
The meet, which is the second-oldest in the state, featured runners from 45 high schools, 25 of which are in the Utica viewing area. The only local team to place first was the Sauquoit Valley boys in the Boys Varsity 2 race.
