NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Cooperstown boys soccer team is one win away from a Class C section title after beating Bishop Ludden 3-1 on Thursday night on Don Edick Field.

The Redskins had to plat from behind as just over three minutes into the game, Brent Ryczak scored on a cross in front to give the Gaelic Knights a 1-0 lead. Midway through the first half, Brandon Lane hustled to save the ball from going over the endline, then got it back on a miss by a Ludden defender to score tying the game at one. Late in the half, Lane found  the back of the net again on a direct kick to give Cooperstown a 2-1 lead at the half.

Issac Huntsman added a second half goal for insurance. Cooperstown is now 15-3 and will face Bishop Grimes in the Class C final at a site and date to be determined.
