Sauquoit girls soccer beat Frewsburg 1-0 in state semifinals

HOMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Sauquoit girls soccer team is one step closer to a state title.


Friday, they beat Frewsburg in the class C State Semifinals.

Kelsey Hogel scored with 3 minutes and 17 seconds left in the game on an assist from Sierra Kiss for the only goal of the game.

The final score was 1-0 Sauquoit.

They play for a state title Saturday morning at 9:00AM at SUNY Cortland.

So far this season, they're 22-0 and no team in Sauquoit soccer history has gone this far.
