Notre Dame girls handle Camden in season opener

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Armed with a new head coach, the Notre Dame lady Jugglers beat Camden 68-54 on Tuesday night.

Mike Plonisch, taking over for Karen Gaesser, watched his girls play aggressive defense and go out to a 31-18 halftime lead.  The lady Juigglers (1-0) led by as many as 25 points. Eighth grader Emily Durr scored a team high 17 points with Jordan Morgan chipping in 15 points.

Camden's Lindsay Jones scored 19 points for the lady Blue Devils (0-1) while Ashley Roser added 15.
