Jugglers' Moore makes school history in win over HP


HOLLAND PATENT, N.Y. (WKTV) - Notre Dame senior Pat Moore set a new school record for scoring in the Jugglers 79-70 victory over Holland Patent. Moore surpassed Bob Pennefather's old record of 1,338 in the third quarter, on route to a 27 point performance. The new record, which Moore will now add to until the end of the season, is 1,356.

However, Moore scored 22 of those 27 in the second half, as the Golden Knights held the future Colgate Raider to just 5 in the first half, trailing 38-32. Alex Smith led the way with 20 points and 10 assists, while Ryan Mogensen added 14 points and 16 rebounds. Holland Patent got as close as 2, but the Jugglers were able to hit 21 of 23 free throws in the second half. Mike Gaglianese had 20 points and Mike Hill added 15 for the Jugglers.

With the win, Notre Dame improves to 8-0 in the TVL, and 10-1 overall. The Jugglers are off until Saturday, when they host Albany Academy at the 37th annual Juggler Classic at SUNYIT.

Holland Patent fell to 3-6 in the TVL, 4-9 overall.
