Early run powers Proctor over RFA


UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Proctor baseball team used an early offensive explosion to beat RFA, 17-1 Monday night at Murnane Field.  The Raiders scored six runs in the bottom of the first, then ten in the second to jump out to a sixteen run lead.  The Raiders, who had ninteen hits on the game, improved to 5-4 on the season.

Nick Raymer drove in four runs, three on a bases clearing first inning double, while Steve Sarcone knocked in three runs.  Sarcone and Mike Obenesser each had three hits on the game.

Black Knights starter Tim Abone lasted just an inning and a third, giving up seven runs on seven hits.  Ryan Donovan lasted five innings for the Raiders, striking out six and getting the victory.
