COLUMBIA, M.D. - The HCCC Women's track team narrowly beat nationally ranked #1 MVCC by just two and a half points at the NJCAA Division III national championships Saturday.  It is the second national title in three years for the Lady Generals.

The team had 11 runners competing in this year's championships, and while none took individual titles, several finished in second place.

HCCC head coach Sharon Howell was named coach of the meet, while Julie DelMedico was named assistant of the year.
