Lady Spartans finish regular season strong

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - The New Hartford girls lacrosse team finished their most successful regular season with a 16-7 victory over rival Whitesboro at Chiz Frye Field. It's the first game the Lady Spartans have won since their playoff clinching win over Fulton on April 30th.
Jessie Rys and Emily Miller each scored four goals, while Theano Alvanos added three goals and three assists to lead New Hartford (8-7). Other notable scores for the Lady Spartans were Carol Faber, who had two goals and two assists, and Lauren Elsenbeck, who had a goal and two assists.
Emily Jweid led Whitesboro, with three goals and an assist, while Allie Cady had two goals and two assists.
New Hartford will find out Friday who and where they'll be playing in their first ever postseason.
