Mohawk Boys Beat WCV In OT

For the second straight day, the Mohawk boys soccer team beat rival West Canada Valley, winning 3-2 in overtime.

With Mohawk leading 2-1 at halftime, West Canada's Anthony Ambrose tied the game with 18:10 left in the second half, sending it to overtime. In the first 10-minute sudden death period, Mohawk's Andrew Fleming put in the game-winner with 3:23 remaining. West Canada was trying for revenge after Mohawk topped the Indians in their tip-off tournament championship on Sunday.

Mohawk is now 4-0 overall; West Canada is 2-2.
