Whitey Herzog visits the Baseball Hall of Fame

COOPERSTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - The National Baseball Hall of Fame welcomed one of the three 2010 Inductees to Cooperstown on Monday. Whitey Herzog, the 20th manager to be voted into the Hall, had a private tour with this wife Mary Lou.

Herzog was elected in December by the Veterans Committee. He will be inducted along with Andre Dawson and umpire Doug Harvey. They will join award winners broadcaster Jon Miller and sports writer Bill Madden of the Daily News of New York.

Herzog managed 18 seasons in the big leagues, 11 of them with the St. Louis Cardinals after stops in texas, California and Kansas City. He won six division titles, three pennants, the 1982 World Series, the 1985. National League  Manager of the Year Award and finished with a .532 winning percentage as a manager.
