Six Flags Darien Lake to Close Early This Season (Added 2:00 PM)

DARIEN CENTER, N.Y. (AP) - The state's largest theme park says its season will end four weeks early on October 1st as its corporate parent continues to suffer financial problems. Six Flags Darien Lake, located halfway between Rochester and Buffalo in Genesee County, has about two thousand workers. It is being considered for sale by Six Flags Incorporated.
