BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (AP) - Police near Binghamton discovered a mobile meth-making set-up in a pickup truck after they stopped the vehicle because the driver and a passenger weren't wearing seat belts.

Authorities say the passenger -- 25-year-old Donald Calabrese of Endicott -- ran from the truck.

Calabrese was apprehended after an hour-long search by police using a helicopter and dogs.

Police say Calabrese was wanted by police on a felony contempt charge.

A state trooper and a Broome County sheriff's deputy were treated at a local hospital after they were exposed to chemicals used to produce methamphetamine.

State police say their investigation is continuing and charges against Calabrese and the woman who was driving the pickup truck are pending.
