"No multiple choice, you just type in the answers," Lonesky said. "You do that and then there are tens of thousands of people."

Once he passed that he had to travel to a major city to take a written test.

"I went down to New York City to take the written tests and they show the questions on a board. You write them down and then after that you do a game."

Once he passed the written test, he was entered into a contestant pool for 18 months and was told that he may or may not be selected, until one day he suddenly got the call. The show itself was tape in July one of five shows that are taped a day of "Jeopardy!"

He says the actual taping of the show went by very quickly.

"I don't remember much of it," he said. "It went by so fast. When you think about it, the actual show part is only 20 minutes. It's something I wanted to do my entire life. a lot of it flies right by."
