Third man sent to prison in murder of Anthony Garner
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The third man convicted in the 2011 murder of Anthony Garner is now headed to prison.
In Oneida County Court Friday, no one spoke for the victim, Anthony Garner, or the defendant Dominique Cook.
But the prosecutor had one word: Nonsense.
Assistant District Attorney Mike Nolan pointed out that one young man is dead and three others, including a U.S. Military veteran are going to spend a long time in prison for his murder.
Marshal Jackson is serving a 25 years to life sentence after the jury convicted him for the murder.
He's the person who actually pulled the trigger.
Cook and another defendant, Octavius Garrett, each got a 15-year sentence.
