A large fight ends contest between MVCC and HCCC

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The men's basketball game between MVCC and HCCC ended with time left on the clock due to a fight that broke out in the stands and spilled out onto the court.

Officals stopped the game with Herkimer leading 75-74 and 40.3 seconds left on the clock. During a Herkimer time out, a fight ensued in the stands and then onto the court. The gym was cleared and the teams were sent home.

We are awaiting an offical ruling from Region III as to whether or not the game is offical. As of Wednesday night the game was suspended.
