Baby Levon's mother holds vigil on missing son's first birthday

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - People from all over the community gathered in front of the home of Levon Wameling on Jay Street for a celebration of the baby's life, Saturday.

Today would have been Levon's first birthday, however, the baby was reported missing by his father in June, two weeks after he disappeared.

Authorities are still trying to locate Levon, without any luck up to this point. However, the Utica Police Department vowed that they will not stop looking for the child until he is found.

Today, the baby's mother, Amy, hosted a balloon release at 4 p.m. in honor of her missing son. Following the launch, the group held a birthday party to remain in high spirits during this difficult time.

The party was being held in Chancellor Park.
