Body found in Chenango County identified as that of missing woman

PHARSALIA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities have identified the body of a woman found in Chenango County as that of Jennifer Ramsaran, 36, who went missing in December.

Ramsaran's body was found off of Center Road in the Town of Pharsalia on Tuesday, just a few miles from where her cell phone was discovered after she was reported missing from New Berlin by her husband on December 11, 2012.

Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting says his office, along with the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office is still investigating the cause of Jennifer's death.

They are asking anyone with information to contact the Sheriff's Office at 607-337-1924 or 607 337 1864.
