Bridgewater feels the wrath of mother nature

BRIDGEWATER, N.Y. (WKTV) - Rain and flooding has has infiltrated the area over the past few days, including the town of Bridgewater.

Brookside trailer park in Bridgewater felt the wrath of mother nature. The storms over the past few days over- flowed a creek in front of the park, making it look like a lake on top of the bridge. Roads were damaged and yards were flooded.

Amber Stevens, a resident of the park said the storms created an unsafe area for the children.

"The kids could have actually drowned with the amount of water that came over the creek."

There is only one road in and out of the trailer park, which forced resident's to either stay in the park or did not allow them to come back in during the height of the storm.
