Cayuga County woman injured in snowmobile accident

WEST TURIN, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities are investigating a snowmobile accident that happened in Lewis County Saturday evening.

Lewis County Sheriff's officials say 48-year-old Constance Tyrrell of Cayuga County was ejected from her snowmobile on Duppert Road in the Town of West Turin around 8:00 Saturday night.

Authorities say Tyrrell's snowmobile slid sideways and rolled, landing on top of her.

She was transported to the Lewis County Hospital in Lowville.
