Community Foundation to move by end of year

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties has a new home.

The non-profit organization is moving from a space it rents on State Street, to a building of its own, located on 2608 Genesee Street in South Utica.

The new location provides a large meeting space for the community to sit down and brainstorm different strategies to meet the organizations goals.

One such goal is the 25/25 Project, which is aiming to have 25% of Oneida and Herkimer County residents earn Bachelor Degrees by 2025.

The move will not be immediate, however, but the Foundation is expecting its offices to be relocated by the end of the year.
