Fall leaf collection begins in City of Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The City of Utica's Fall leaf collection pickup has begun and from now (October 4) through November 9, Utica residents can sweep or rake loose leaves to the curb to be picked up the Department of Public Works.

Residents are asked to put leaves between the sidewalk and the curb, and not place them in the street. Also, residents are advised not to put the leaves in plastic bags or bins.

You can also drop off green waste to the compost site on Leland Ave between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays.
