Fay Street Warehouse implosion a success


UPDATE: As of 10:00am, the NYS Department of Transportation has declared it is safe for people, evacuated from the Fay St. Warehouse Implosion area, to return to their homes.

UTICA, NY (WKTV) - The Fay Street Warehouse implosion went off without a hitch on Sunday morning. State DOT officals brought down the structure just after 7 a.m.

Crews immediately went to work on cleaning up part of the arterial where some of the rubble landed immediately after the implosion. Officals are inspecting the arterial bridge. Once the inspections are complete, crews will reopen the arterial to traffic.
