Men's Soccer: HCCC wins eighth national title

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The HCCC men's soccer team are NJCAA champions again after a 4-1 win over Region III rival Genesee Sunday.  The win avenges the Generals only loss of the season, a 1-0 defeat to Genesee on October 18th.

Charlie Anderson led the Generals with two goals and an assist, Cody Farrier had a goal and an assist and Jordan Stoddart had a goal as well.  Davion Bailey had seven saves in the Herkimer net.

It's the first national title for the Generals since 2008, who played and hosted last year's championship, but fell short of a title.
