Hanna offers view on government shutdown

By WKTV News

(WKTV) -- U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna joined WKTV via telephone Tuesday to give the Mohawk Valley his take on the government shutdown.

While Hanna, a Republican, has voted dozens of times to repeal, reform and defund the Affordable Care Act, he does not support the way Congress is handling the budget situation.

Hanna's staff is feeling the pain of the process, with 60 percent of his staff furloughed. His Utica and Binghamton offices are currently closed.
