Man wanted in Florida for selling fake drugs charged in Herkimer County

ILION, N.Y. (WKTV) An Ilion man who was wanted in Florida after authorities say he was selling fake drugs.

The Herkimer County Sheriff's Office, along with the Herkimer County Probation Department arrested Ryan J. Hughes, of Ilion on January 3, 2013.

Hughes was arrested on a felony violation of probation warrant out of Osceola County, Florida. Authorities say he was wanted in florida for the sale of fake cocaine.

He was arraigned and remanded to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility without bail, pending extradition.
