Murder-suicide victim shot five times
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) -
The woman killed during the West Utica murder-suicide this week was shot several times NEWSChannel 2 has confirmed.
Petra Gonzales was shot five times, with one shot in the head, police say.
The shooter is alleged to be Jerry McNair, who is her on-and-off-again boyfriend. McNair allegedly shot Gonzales Wednesday before turning the gun on himself.
The man also shot a 22-year-old female and left her for dead in North Utica. It was learned Friday that her condition has been upgraded to stable condition.
