Not Guilty plea in Rome Shooting death

By WKTV News

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man accused of shooting a Rome man following an argument at an after hours party in May has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder.

Bobby Ray Hunt is accused of shooting Jadreck Baker to death on a Rome street. Police had to extradite Hunt from North Carolina, a process that took several weeks.

The Oneida County District Attorney's office has extended a plea offer to Hunt. He's due back in court August fifth to let them know whether he wants to take the offer, or take his chances at trial.
