One critically injured after car-snow plow collision
ANNSVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A head-on collision with a plow truck sent four to the hospital and leaving one in critical condition, Tuesday night.
State Police say a car, driven by 61-year-old Monika Cox of Taberg, was traveling south towards Rome lost control and slid into the path of a snow plow at around 7 p.m. on Route 69 about a mile south of Taberg.
Tracy Cox, age 18, also of Taberg, NY, received a broken ankle and wrist and was also transported to St Elizabeth's Medical Center for treatment. Taylor Mulvaney, age 17, of Camden, NY received a facial laceration and was transported to Rome Memorial Hospital for treatment. Elijah Tucker, age 14, of Camden, NY, received massive internal trauma. His injuries were considered life threatening and he was transported to Upstate Medical Center for treatment. He was listed in serious but stable condition.
The driver of the Oneida County Plow truck was not injured.
Police said the accident was weather related.
