NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man has turned himself in and is facing numerous charges after an altercation in the parking lot of IHOP in New Hartford.

According to police, Adam S. Wrana, 39, of Utica confronted his ex-girlfriend and her ex-husband in the parking lot while the two were on their way to their vehicle with their three young children.

Police say Wrana pushed the male multiple times and punched his ex-girlfriend's car door, causing damage.

He then fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers, but police say Wrana turned himself in and is now charged with second-degree harassment, third-degree criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child.

Wrana was processed and released on an appearance ticket, and is due back in the Town of New Hartford Court at a later date.
