By WKTV News

CHADWICKS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Police are searching for a man they say robbed a clerk at knifepoint late Thursday night at a Chadwicks gas station.

At roughly 11:47 p.m. on January 10, police say a white male wearing all black clothing, a black paintball mask and glasses over his eyes had come into the store, displayed a knife and demanded money out of the register.

Police say the clerk complied and the male left on foot toward Grange Hill Road with an undetermined amount of cash. The clerk was unharmed and an immediate area check for the suspect by police turned up nothing.

Authorities say an investigation is underway.

If anyone has any information regarding the robbery or suspect, they are asked to contact New Hartford Police at 315-724-7111.

All calls will be kept confidential.
