Postal carrier taken to hospital after car collides with mail truck
FRANKFORT CENTER, N.Y. (WKTV) - A postal carrier was taken away by ambulance Tuesday after their postal jeep was hit by another driver.
Frankfort Town Police and the Frankfort Center Fire Department responded to the scene shortly after Noon on Wednesday, where a man driving a white pickup truck claimed he had lost control of his brakes, rounded a curb onto Brown Road, and fish-tailed the back of his truck into the front of a red mail jeep. The male driver of the truck appeared okay at the scene, but the female postal carrier was taken away via ambulance. The extent of her injuries was not known at the time of this writing. |
