Residents in shock by Little Falls incident

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Residents who live in the City of Little Falls were shocked by the incident that occurred Friday on the corner of North Ann St. And Gansevoort. Most who say this type of commotion never happens in the city.

Kyle Edick, 23 of Little Falls is in police custody. Police say he is wanted for questioning surrounding an incident at the intersection.

Katie Collins of Little Falls said she was setting up for dinner at The Elks Lodge when she heard a noise that sounded like a car crash, "Then I saw police running down the street with a rifle so I knew it was a little more then just a car crash."

Residents of the neighborhood stayed inside, scared to see what the commotion was in their neighborhood. Collins said, "It's a little scary to know to know there was something like that happening in Little Falls."

Edick has made headlines in the past. In 2009, the former Dolgeville man was accused of setting a teenager on fire and earlier this year he was arrested after taking police on a chase through three counties.
